Take a packed lunch from our hotel and start your trip with a visit to Woodville Walled Gardens, which is on our doorstep. Here you will find Woodville house which was once home to two prominent Galway families in the 18th century. The gardens have been beautifully restored and in the museum you can find information about the connection to Lady Augusta Gregory.
From here continue your journey to Coole Park, once home to Lady Augusta Gregory. Here you can explore the exclusive landscape with nature trails around the wood, river, turlough, bare limestone and Coole Lake. From here head towards Kinvara, the gateway to the Burren, take a walk on the flaggy shore as your first hint of what the Wild Atlantic has to offer. You can discover hidden and remote places of wild beauty for instance Fanore Beach just outside of Ballyvaughan or Blackhead where it is a fisherman's haven.
Continue along your way towards Doolin, with one of the most breaktaking views along the west coast of Ireland, Doolin is a beautiful seaside village where you can wander through craft shops and pick up some handcrafted gifts. If you are really looking for adventure you can hop onto one of the ferries that will take you to the Aran Islands. If you didnt bring your sea legs, continue passed Doolin towards the Cliffs of Moher, where the cold Atlantic breeze will increase your appetite for our award winning restaurant.
